Ballet dancer sideways standing is an advanced spiral stabilization exercise; it assumes you have the basic series covered. Execution: legs. Equipment: rope, poles.

Starting position: Stand on your rear leg, with the hip facing the rope handle. Your front exercising leg is raised in front of the body so that your knee and hip joint form a right angle.

Stretch the raised leg obliquely in front of the body to the opposite side and downward and cross the standing leg. The knee of the exercising leg is turned forward.

The full procedure, a video with voice guidance and what to watch out for are in the Spiralista app.
